Woods? LandPride? York? Generic? Been looking for a landscape rake to help clear stones (grapefruit sized and smaller) and root chips out of a freshly graded (future) yard and have been conflicting stories from every dealer I've talked with. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Additionally, ballpark pricing would help.Thanks.

I just picked up a 6ft woods rake new at auction for $325 which i've since found out is a pretty good price. Dealer would have wanted $425-500. I think the brands you mentioned are all comparable. I'd stay away from the really cheap ones as they seem pretty light duty and you can get to pulling a pretty heavy load if your're doing dirt and things. You should be able to get a decent one for under $500 unless you want guide wheels, then add about $125. (For nice finish grading I can see where they would be worth it but you can always add them later.) Try some auctions if you don't need it right away. ....
